FIELD TRIAL

Don Fidler reported the February field trail had to be canceled due to flooding at San Jacinto. He had moved the trial to California City but lost entries and workers. Since the club would lose money, Don canceled the trail. The birds were resold and we will be refunded our $25.00 AKC fee. Don mentioned that the trophies can be reused so we are only out the cost of printing the premiums and stamps.

To be placed on the Field Trial mailing list or for more information e-mail.

HUNT TEST

Colleen reported that Sarah has put our premium into a PDF format so we can now e-mailed them out. This will save our club on the cost of printing and stamps. Colleen has been in contact with the grounds people and the sanitation company. She asked Roger for the check book so she can pay the judges. Roger just got the check book back from the Fidlers and wanted to bring it up to date first.

 SPECIALTY SHOW  REPORT

Leita Estes reported on the specialty show which will be held on Friday, March 19th at the Del Mar Fair grounds. Everything is on track but she needs to find a new sweepstakes judge. It was suggested to ask the judge who forgot to show at the September event. She will send in information showing that our club has fulfilled the AKC requirements to hold the event. She mentioned that we will need to hold a match or related event to meet next years AKC requirements. Leita will look into the possibility of holding a match after our March specialty show.

MEMBERSHIP NEWS

Charlie Hoffman asked for a motion to keep the 2009 Board members for 2010. Kenn Scruggs made a motion to keep all the officers the same for 2010. The motion was seconded and passed.

Roger mentioned that he has already received a bill for the hunt test porta-potty. Colleen asked how much the bill was. Roger said it was $120.88 but that he will wait until after it is dropped off for the hunt test in March to pay the bill.
