FIELD TRIAL

HUNT TEST

Colleen reported that the hunt test had an entry of 51 exhibitors. The event went well with the exception of the cold weather and one judge got lost on the way to the grounds. Colleen gave Roger an income and expense sheet which showed the club made a slight profit. She thanked the members who came out to help with the event. The membership thanked Kenn & Colleen for all their hard work putting on the event.

 SPECIALTY SHOW  REPORT

Leita Estes reported that everything is ready for the Specialty Show which will be held March 19th at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Entries have closed but she did not know the number of entries or start time yet. Leita said that a friend of hers would provide pulled pork sandwiches but they had to serve it away from the ring. Inge brought up the fact that the grounds had food vendors. Leita felt that they were too expensive. The club lunches would sell for $5.00 and would be served in the Motorhome parking area. Leita asked for raffle and trophy donations. Parking fees will be collected but Leita believes that if you arrive before the parking lot attendants at 7:30 am, there may be no cost to park. The All-Breed Club will provide the rings, tables and chairs. She thinks the ring will be in the building closest to the beach so parking in the back lot would be closer if it is open.
